From Airport Balice you can get to Kraków by :

• Train
• Public bus
• Taxi

 The Airport is located about 15 km from Auditorium Maximum.

Train

The new Kraków Airport train station is located near the passenger terminal, at the rear of the multi-storey car park. The connection is operated by Koleje Malopolskie (regional railways company operating in Malopolska Region). 

TICKETS: Kraków Airport - Kraków Main Train Station: PLN 9,00 (+- 2,10€)

LUGGAGE: free of charge

Where to buy a ticket?

- Ticket machine in passenger terminal, level 0 (cash payment or payment with credit/debit card)

- Ticket machine at train station (cash payment or payment with credit/debit card)

- Train conductor on board (cash payment only)

From Main Train Station you should go to the tram-stop “Slowacki Theatre” (Teatr Slowackiego); 5-6 minutes) at Lubicz Street (see MAP 1) and take tram: 14, 73 or bus: 124, 152, 424, 502 and get off at the tram-stop “Bagatela Theatre” (Teatr Bagatela)

Public buses

Kraków Airport is served by two regular bus lines: 208 and 252 and one night line: 902. These are AGGLOMERATION BUS LINES.

Current departures of the city buses are presented on the screen located near information desk in the main hall.

 

Tickets can be purchased from:

• The ticket machine at the passenger terminal, arrivals hall, level 0
• The ticket machine at the bus stop (payment in cash or with credit/debit card)
• The authorized ticket machines found on 292 line buses (payment in cash – coins only)
• The bus driver, in case of lack or failure of ticket machine (single tickets only, payment in cash - the exact amount of money).

The ticket must be validated when getting on the bus.

LUGGAGE: free of charge

Taxi

The only official taxi service at the airport is Krakow Airport Taxi.

Taxi stop is in the front of the arrival terminal.

The charges depends on the zones (Auditorium Maximum is within 3 or 4 zone depending on the road; and it should cost:

Zone 3 – 69 PLN or 17 EUR

Zone 4 – 89 PLN or 22 EUR

The travel will take usually from 20-25 minutes but it could be longer due to traffic jam.

The charges within the zones are flat rates regardless of:

• duration of the ride
• time of the day
• day of the week

You can pay by cash in PLN or EUR or by credit cards.
